Sea of Cortez - Dive Expedition 2018

About the trip...

This is a marine biologist led excursion to see some amazing animals in their natural habitat and to learn more about these animals up close and personal while scuba diving some of the most beautiful waters in the world! Participants will receive lectures on these incredible animals and then spend 3-4 dives per day for five days in the water. There will also be a snorkeling adventure with local whale sharks! CMERA has chartered the entire vessel so only our participants will be aboard!  All dive equipment will be included, however we strongly recommend bringing your personal dive equipment if possible excluding tanks and weights. All meals, breakfast lunch and dinner will be included while on the ship including soft drinks, beer and unlimited hot beverages (tea and coffee),Transfers from La Paz airport, boat tips and last night hotel stay are also included in the cost. There are nine double occupancy cabins available each with a/c and a private bath.


Travel Information: 

All participants will need to fly into La Paz (LAP) Mexico airport on August 25 and fly out on August 31, 2018


Cost and payment schedule...

The price for the live aboard expedition is $2600 per person.

There are no prerequisites for this expedition (with the exception of being scuba certified)

and friends and family are welcome to join you!


All past CMERA participants will have first come first served opportunity to register for this expedition between December 1 and December 3, 2017. 

Deposits will be $500 per person and are due with the registration form.

The balance will be paid in two equal payments due on March 1, 2018 and June 1, 2018.
