Students are not limited in the number of weeks they would like to attend and weeks do not have to be consecutive. Spring Break classes are one week only.
Early Enrollment Period - Weekly rate is $699 when paid in full by December 31, 2017
Late Enrollment Period - Weekly rate is $749 when full payment is received between January 1 - March 31, 2018.
All payments for the summer program are due in full no later than March 31, 2018.
Spring Break Classes - These weeks are limited to seven participants only.
All payments for Spring Break weeks are due in full no later than February 15, 2018.
Spring Break class registration ends on February 15, 2018.
All tuition for the early enrollment period becomes non-refundable on the last day of the early enrollment period.
All tuition for the late enrollment period becomes non-refundable effective March 1, 2018.
Weekly rate includes: all academic lectures, research sessions on the boats (water, lunch and snacks provided), one CMERA T-Shirt (Chief Scientist shirt for all four week participants and Research Scientist for all 1-3 week participants), captains fees, fuel, orientation meal on Sunday nights and transportation to and from the Tampa or Clearwater-St. Pete airport, local bus or train station to the housing. Transportation from the housing to the classrooms and marina. Transportation to local grocery stores for food and other items. Transportation from Orlando airport may be arranged for an additional cost of $100 round trip.
Attend Three Weeks : Receive $200 off your third week of tuition
Attend Four Weeks : Receive $350 off your fourth week of tuition AND students participating in four weeks of the summer program will be considered "Chief Scientists" on our research project and will be acknowledged by name on any published papers.
Attend Six Weeks: Receive $500 off your sixth week of tuition and "Chief Scientist" designation.
Attend Eight Weeks: The eighth week is FREE and "Chief Scientist" designation.
Lodging is available for only $169 per week (double occupancy) during the summer program. Students will check into housing Sunday at the beginning of their program and will check out Saturday at the end of their program. Additional nights, if available, will be $30 per night (i.e. the Saturday night before their program begins or the Saturday night after their program ends). Private rooms are available for $318 per week (shared bathroom) and of course participants are able to make their own lodging arrangements and stay with friends or family during the program; however, if you are not in group housing you are responsible for transportation to and from the group housing location for transportation to and from the boats and classrooms. Housing payments for the summer are due no later than March 30, 2018.
Transportation to the Tampa area is NOT included in the tuition fee.
Transportation to and from the airport, bus terminal, or other transit hub, to the student housing is included. Transportation to the boats, classrooms, shopping areas, group meals and other group activities are included with the housing. Students not utilizing our housing will be required to have their own transportation to the boats and classroom.

Applications received without either a deposit or payment in full will not be processed. Deposits may be made using PayPal at the bottom of the page. An invoice for the balance of your fees will be sent to you via PayPal. Contact us by email if you need to pay with a check or money order. We can also accept credit card payments over the phone.

After the application has been received and it is determined if spots are still available the student will be contacted via e-mail regarding further information such as what to bring, regulations, flight and hotel recommendations.
Transportation to the Tampa/Clearwater area, meals, and lodging are NOT INCLUDED in the weekly rate.
